2010 ZAP Festival - San Francisco
Once again, we will be joining in the festivities at Ft. Mason and WHY NOT!?!? We've got some exciting new releases to share with everyone and will unveil the new package for Medusa starting with the 2007 Pig Pen from Amador County as well as a new bottling of our delicious Zinport and a few other surprises. Come by our table and say hello to Geoff Whitman, our chief cook and bottle washer, and some other members of the Medusa clan.

Geoff Whitman joins Medusa & Spellbound Wines as Managing Partner
Whitman began his wine career working in production at several Santa Barbara wineries, including Au Bon Climat. In 1998, he joined Southern Wine & Spirits, moving to the distribution side of the business. In 2001, Whitman joined Robert Mondavi, where he held several key sales management positions. Prior to joining Medusa & Spellbound Wines, Whitman managed Key National Accounts for Constellation Wines US.
"Geoff's understanding and passion for wine, compounded with his business savvy, make him the ideal general manager for Medusa and Spellbound," said Rob Mondavi, owner and winemaker. "With Geoff at the helm, we're confident both brands will flourish."

The 2007 Medusa Pig Pen has been officially released! Check out our new package on this wine, the first of the 07's to be released - we've moved to a very sexy screenprinted bottle for the entire vintage and the early results are in, zin lovers dig it!
